Sometimes, making connections is tough. We have big emotions and for good reasons. However, sometimes our emotions are simply indicators that we might be missing.


When we think of our emotions as feedback on what might be happening, or an area we might need more nourishment. We can create curiosity around the root cause of our upset.


Sounds simple, right? Over time, it can be. With the help of our connection opportunity, these questions activate your reticular activating system, enabling you to recognize when your emotions are trying to give you a signal to enhance your connections or communication.

    Family/Kids: What is the real reason we might resent our kids? No, it's not because we love them less, and their simple existence is holding us back. Where does really looking at this change your perspective?

  • Personal /Self: How does resentment or upset feelings create guilt within you? How does that impact your ability to communicate?

  • Clients/students - When do upset feelings become hard to hold for others? When do you run out of space for it, and why?

  • Work/professional— Where does resentment and upset at work come from? What does that tell you about the issue?

  • Nature— When nature creates frustration, is it because the weather is the issue? Or is it deeper? What is that update telling you?

  • Community/online networks— Intense feelings in our communities are normal. Where do you think the real issues lie, when tensions run high or change is imminent?
