Relationships with people are not always easy, nor are they always pleasant. Most relationships are messy, and connections are complicated. Our mindset plays a vital role in our approach to others. Mindfulness can change how we impact our connections and set the stage for tremendous growth or meaningful connections to occur.

When it's hard, what's the first thing you do? Are you the first one to drop kindness out the window? Or are you the one who grounds everyone and reminds them that our connections matter, and how we speak and interact with others is remembered and felt?
Perfection is an illusion; therefore, it should not be something we strive for. Although intention can change everything, each time we become more aware of what our purpose is in our interactions with others and within ourselves.
Today's post prompts us to consider the mindfulness and intention behind our interactions with others.
Family/Kids: How do your feelings impact your response and interactions with your family? What is your state of being, and is there anything you wish to change about it?
Personal /Self: What is the first thing you tell yourself when something goes wrong? Are you critical or supportive? How does that response impact your state of mind?
Clients/students - When challenged with a client or student, what is your first response? Do you lead with curiosity or blame?
Work/professional— How do difficult conversations shape the environment in your workplace? What is the first intention you have when approaching colleagues?
Nature— How does nature shape adversity in your life? Where can it support you?
Community/online networks— How many times have you led with curiosity when someone says something that triggers something in you? How would that change your experience if curiosity were more present in difficult situations?
